TOPIK I and TOPIK II

TOPIK has two tests. TOPIK I covers levels 1 and 2 and has listening and reading. TOPIK II covers levels 3 to 6 and has listening, writing and reading. Your level depends on your total score. For a full introduction, read the TOPIK I and TOPIK II overview.

TOPIK is a different test from EPS-TOPIK, which is used for the Employment Permit System. See EPS-TOPIK and TOPIK: what is the difference?

Test dates, registration, fees, locations, question formats and score requirements are published by the official TOPIK administration and can change. Always confirm them on the official TOPIK portal. This website does not handle registration or results.

How to use this section

  1. Make a plan with the beginner TOPIK I study plan.
  2. Learn the reading techniques, then take TOPIK I reading 01 in learning mode.
  3. Learn the listening techniques, check your headphones, then take TOPIK I listening 01.
  4. Read every explanation, revisit the linked lessons, and retake the set in timed mode a week later.

What about TOPIK II?

This first release focuses on TOPIK I. Our overview article introduces TOPIK II, but a full TOPIK II practice simulator is not part of the site yet.
